Girls for a Change

Generation Know
Generation Know

Girls For A Change (GFC) is proud to enter our fourth year partnering with U by Kotex® to empower girls to advance their vaginal wellness education and create social change in their communities through a program called Generation Know*. Generation Know* will be the first generation of girls with a real understanding of vaginal wellness, the first generation comfortable asking questions and gaining and spreading knowledge – and we need your help to get this movement going!

GFC and U by Kotex® agree that there is way too much misinformation about girls’ health and bodies out there today. In fact, more than half (51%) of girls say it’s hard to separate myths from facts when it comes to vaginal health. Everything from false information that appears in online searches and message boards to myths that have been carried from one generation to the next can leave girls confused, without the facts and unempowered by the very thing that makes them a woman. It’s no wonder girls have negative feelings about their bodies!
Get with Generation Know* by visiting www.GenerationKnow.com and make a difference in how the world thinks about vaginal wellness.

For every person who joins the movement by visiting www.GenerationKnow.com, U by Kotex® will make a $1 donation to GFC, up to $500,000.  Empowering girls to believe in themselves and see themselves as social change agents starts with helping them overcome the negative messages and myths that swirl around them constantly. Together, girls can empower themselves with education, take control of vaginal wellness conversations and redefine how society thinks about their health and bodies. When a girl feels empowered she is unstoppable and capable of amazing things!

Since 2010, U by Kotex® and GFC have worked together to encourage girls to spark a conversation that is long overdue. The partnership first launched in September 2010 when Girls For A Change trained over a 1,000 girls across the US to create change in their communities around women’s health. Since 2010, together we will have trained over 5,000 girls in Phoenix, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, the SF Bay Area, Dallas, Baltimore, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit, Richmond, VA, Honolulu, Hartford CT, Colorado Springs CO, Vancouver BC, and Atlanta. Thanks to all of our trainers, partners, and donors for making this movement possible!
